Featured Cover of the Month
From David Wright

Captain America #352
(April 1989) "Refuge"

Sorry this month's Cover is a little late, but I just got through spending the weekend at Heroes Con in Charlotte. I picked up a lot of great comics while I was there including this month's Cover of the Month. I picked it for several reasons. One, it is a guest appearance of The Avengers in another title. Two, it features The Soviet Super Soldiers (a.k.a. The Supreme Soviets) who have just made an appearance as The Winter Guard in Vol. 3 #42. And, finally, this issue features the art of Kieron Dwyer, who has been announced as the next regular penciller on The Avengers starting with issue 47.

Mark Gruenwald (writer, co-plotter), Kieron Dwyer (co-plotter, breakdowns), Al Milgrom (finished pencils), Jack Morelli (letterer), Bob Sharen (colorist), Ralph Macchio (editor), Tom DeFalco (editor-in-chief), and "Special Thanks to Sara T. and Faby N."

SPECIAL BONUS!
For those of you that were reading AVENGERS in 1984, the cover to Vol. 3 #40 may have looked familiar. Below is the cover to Vol. 1 #250. It was done by Al Milgrom and Joe Sinnott.
